Taking delivery of your new automobile is unquestionably thrilling! While it is tempting to get carried away and sign the paperwork, it is critical to properly inspect the vehicle and ensure that everything is by the contract. If you find something wrong with your automobile after you leave the dealership, the dealer may not accept responsibility. Make a new car delivery checklist and, if feasible, bring a reputable mechanic along for the pre-delivery examination. Here’s what you should look for when you get your new car:

Exteriors

A new automobile might be damaged while being transported from the manufacturer’s facility to the dealer’s stockyard. Slowly go around the car, looking for any scratches or dents, especially in the bumpers and around the sides. Examine the paintwork as well. Bring any repaint patches, scratches, or dents to the attention of the dealer.

Interiors

After you’ve checked the exteriors, go inside and look for stains on the dashboard, upholstery, seats, and glovebox. Remove the floor mats and inspect the carpet for wetness. Examine the glasses and mirrors for cracks or scratches.

Engine

Check the fluid levels by opening the hood. Engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid should all be full. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes. Air-Conditioning

Turn on the air conditioning and see if the cabin cools rapidly. The autos are usually stored in a dusty atmosphere in the dealer stockyard. The air ducts may get blocked and serve as a breeding ground for germs. If your new automobile has been sitting in the garage for months, the petrol tank may have depleted and needs to be refilled.

Electricals

Check that all of the electricals are in functioning order. Rodents may have harmed the wiring in certain cases. Switch on the headlights, brake lights, reverse lights, parking lights, fog lights, indicators, cabin light, wipers, power windows, and audio system.

Tyres

When a car sits for an extended period, the tyres might develop flat areas. This might lead to premature wear and tear. The automobile tyres should be fresh and have sufficient tread. Examine your spare tyre, jack, and other tools.

Fuel And Odometer

The odometer readout on a new automobile should not be more than 100-150 kilometres. If you observe a reading that is higher than that, ask the dealer for an explanation because it can be a used 4wd for sale. In addition, the dealer normally delivers five litres of free fuel. Check the gasoline level to verify if it is sufficient to reach the nearest fuel outlet.

Documentation

Once you’ve decided on a vehicle, the following step is to go over the paperwork.
